Minimizing construction with MegaShield™.

BAM Construction of the UK reached out to NELCO to erect two Linac vaults for the NHS at the Bracknell Healthspace. After assessing the project, NELCO recommended MegaShield™ Modular Blocks as the material of choice. The NHS agreed, not only for the interlocking modular capabilities and superior strength, but because MegaShield™ comes pre-cured from NELCO, the vault construction time was reduced dramatically to only four weeks. The facility opened in 2011, and the Linac vaults have been operating smoothly and effectively with optimal shielding protection.
